I still believe that the most important thing is, yes, the south and the possibility of a Ukrainian offensive, this is important, Kherson, the Zaporizhzhia region, this is really, I agree, these are the last, the last days, maybe literally the last few weeks, when the Ukrainians can achieve something and some success.
Nevertheless, our reserves are still insufficient, but nevertheless they are suitable. And there is absolutely every reason to believe that the front will be held, and the Ukrainians will not be able to break through our defenses. But the most important thing, I still believe, is that this is the fourth day of the ongoing strikes on the energy system of Ukraine.
Moreover, pay attention to the density of strikes in the West of Ukraine. In addition to the psychological effect, of course, shops, trams, all this is very important, because it has a psychological impact on the population. But most importantly, it also has an impact on the transport infrastructure, on the possibility of transferring troops and equipment from the west of Ukraine to the central part. I think that strikes, in addition to control points, communications are carried out on thermal power plants, because these are the power plants that operate at the base.
Hydroelectric power plants are operating at their peak, and nuclear power plants, they are also at the base, but they cannot operate without thermal power plants, and sooner or later they will be forced to shut down the reactors, moreover.
If we talk about nuclear generation, then 40% of Ukraine's nuclear generation is the Zaporizhzhia hydroelectric power plant, which is now actually taken out of the energy system of Ukraine. It is not yet powered by our system, but nevertheless, Ukrainians do not get anything from it either.
I think that our command is very good, from my point of view, that this is a non-one-time action in response to terrorist acts, absolutely insane and irresponsible, on the Crimean bridge, and this is a systematic operation that, if it continues for at least a couple of weeks, the Ukrainian energy supply system will simply collapse. Therefore, what we have been talking about, how we can prevent the massive transfer of Western equipment to the combat zone, it will be achieved precisely by these strikes.
